Zamień na stronę bierną: People claim that the Lumiere brothers produced the first movie. Napisałem The Lumiers brothers are claimed to produced the first movie. Mam źle; powinno być to have produced the first movie. Dlaczego? 2.przyklad;: Critics believe that Rudolf Valentino was the first male movie star. Napialem: Rudolf Valentino is believe to be the first male movie star. Mam źle; powinno być to have been the first male movie actor. Skąd ta nagła zmiana na Present Perfect?
produced to nie jest bezokolicznik
formą bezokolicznika jest natomiast 'to have done'.
W III osobie l. poj. też będzie 'to have done', a nie 'has', bo to jest bezokolicznik
w zdaniu o Valentino masz roznice czasow: w zdaniu glownym czas terazniejszy, w podrzednym czas przeszly. Tę róznicę zaznacza się wlasnie uzywajac perfect infinitive.
zdanie "RV is believed to be the first movie star" odpowiada zdaniu "Critics believe that RV is the first move star'
Critics believed that RV was the first movie star = RV was believed to be...
