When I started my new job at a foreign company I was required to attend a talk about the company’s history beforehand. The talk was going smoothly until the presenter wanted to start displaying slides from her laptop. She was in a hurry and a bit stressed and nervous, what is more there were some issues concerning her laptop, she even had to restart her laptop as it had crashed.
After rebooting she had the control back again. She opened her presentation and to the audience’s surpprise a porno slide opened with people making sex on it. Before she realized, because people were giggling, she had already displayed two slides, the second one divulged her face with a janitor in a utility room. She was holding on to a mop. The janitor's trousers were open and his package was exposed to the daylight.
She was embarrassed and hurried through the second part of her presentation. And as soon as she finished she rushed out of the room.
She got back after two minutes and said that if someone uttered a word of what had happened would never find employment in the company and invoked her connections.
We were astonished by the slides and her behaviour as we saw a slide that we could never have thought of during such a talk. I only hoped to never stumble across such faux pas again.
