Found on the Internet... Cat Haiku.

You never feed me.
Perhaps I\'ll sleep on your face.
That will sure show you.

You must scratch me there!
Yes, above my tail!
Behold, elevator butt.

The rule for today
Touch my tail, I shred your hand.
New rule tomorrow.

In deep sleep hear sound
cat vomit hairball somewhere
will find in morning.

Grace personified.
I leap into the window.
I meant to do that.

You\'re always typing.
Well, let\'s see you ignore my
sitting on your hands.

My small cardboard box.
You cannot see me if I
can just hide my head.

Small brave carnivores
Kill pine cones and mosquitoes
Fear vacuum cleaner

Wanna go outside.
Oh, crap! Help! I got outside!
Let me back inside!

Oh no! Big One
has been trapped by newspaper!
Cat to the rescue!

Humans are so strange.
Mine lies still in bed, then screams
My claws are not that sharp.

Cats meow out of angst
\"Thumbs! If only we had thumbs!
We could break so much!\"

We\'re almost equals
I purr to show I love you
Want to smell my butt?
Purrfect ;-)
Yeah, great :)
>Small brave carnivores
>Kill pine cones and mosquitoes
>Fear vacuum cleaner

best of the best :D

cats are simply the best at haiku, this is what defines this little fluffy creatures the most perfectly ;]
Here\'s some more. These are from \"Cat Haiku\" by Deborah Coates.

1.
\"You are my best friend.
Person Allergic to Cats.
Let me shed on you.\"

2.
\"Visitors come. They
Coo over me. Ignoring
Them. I wash my rump.\"

3.
\"I sit in front of
The door. You open it; I
Stare. Nope. changed my mind.\"

You have probably guessed by now that I have this \"thing\" about cats, I have two myself (Sage&Onion). We took them to the vets two days ago. Sage caused a bit of a stir while we were there. Apparently, he was the heaviest cat they have ever seen, 9.8kg (more than 20 lb, or 1 st 7.5 lb). Enough said, we have put him on a strict diet straight away. He is not a happy cat now.
:o)
I love cats and these poem are very true!
not \"poem\" but \"poems\"\',I beg your pardon!
Some time ago I discovered e.e. cummings. I\'m like his poems a lot ;-)

e.e. cummings - i carry your heart with me(i carry it in...

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it\'s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that\'s keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)
bu the way, do you happen to know where I can find poems of W.Szymborska translated into English??
