Dear Editor,
I am writing in connection with Your article called "why TV is bad for us", which I read in last monday's newspaper. With sorrow I must say that I agree with most of the things mendtioned in the article.
First of all, unfortunately TV encourages us to be lazy. Watching TV is the easiest way to find enertainment. This makes that we do not want to do much more then siting and watching TV.
Then, news. They always give us so trival versions of the news.
What about details? We want to know more.
Next, I am disgusted with the thing that most of tv audience do not use their brains when they watch tv. People can believe in most stupid things, only because they saw it on TV.
The other terrible thing is that TV teaches young people that violence is always the best answer. After watching violence programms and films in tv, teenagers want to follow the characters from. Parents and teachers have to do something to make our children not so addicted to TV. There are many facilities in our town, for example: parks, libraries, museums, galleries and other intersting places where the children can spend their free time and have fun too, but young people do not know about them.
Yours faithfully,
xyz
