In your free time you can watch video films, listen to music or read e-books. Moreover you always can download your favorite files and use them later on. Another advantage is that you can arrange things without leaving your home. For example make bank money transfer, order things straight to your home or check if your favorite store got a new delivery. You don’t have to buy a newspaper or check bus timetable on the station because it’s on the net. In fact you don't have to go out at all. You can even make friends online. People e-mail, chat and discuss their problems.

Nevertheless, there are also disadvantages of the Internet. For example you can easily fall a victim to a viruses. Sometimes you will find it hard to find exact thing that interests you or you just can come across false information. It’s commonly known that if you sit too long in front of a computer, it is harmful for our spine and eyesight. As we all know the Internet can be very addictive so health problems listed above occur to each and every of us very frequently.
In my opinion the Internet has much more pros than cons and we can easily protect ourselves from majority of disadvantages. We should just be careful not to become slave of our own invention.
