Antonio Vivaldi was a composer and violinist. He was born on 4th March, 1678, in Venice, Italy. He became a priest when he was 25. Vivaldi taught music at a school for girls in Venice. He traveled to many countries in Europe. He wrote: 40 operas, 39 concertos for basson and 30 concertos for flute. At the hight of his career he was a rich person. Vivaldi never married. When he died on 28th July, 1741, he was a poor man.
