Witajcie. Bardzo Was proszę o sprawdzenie mojej pracy:

The Itaipu is a hydroelectric dam located on Parana River in South America. It’s a second largest power plant on the world. First is the Three Gorges Dam in China. The name „Itaipu” in the language of Guarani Indians means „the sounding stone”. The dam is the result of collaboration between two countries – Brasil and Paraguay and located on their border. It was finished after 11 years in 1984. It is 225 m high and over 7 km long.
The power plant generates up to 95 TWh (TeraWatt hours) in a year. Paraguay is much smaller country and uses only less than 7% of energy produced by Itaipu. It’s about 95% of Paraguays electric demand. The rest of power generated on Paraguayan part is buying by Brasil. In all Itaipu provides about 20% of Brasil demands.
Interesting is the price for which Paraguay sells electricity to Brasil. It’s only 3$ per MWh (megawatt hours) while its market value is 150$. Unfavorable for Paraguay agreement was signed by then-dictator Alfredo Stroessner for 50 years.
South America is the only continent where most of the energy comes from renewable sources. The most used renewable source in the world is hydroelectric power.
Work of this power plant is based on the gravitational force of flowing water. Water is stored in reservoir and when a floodgate opens water flows down in a tunnel powering a turbine. The higher the dam the bigger power. The turbine is connected to an electric generator which produced electricity and sends it to the grid. After that water is pumped back to reservoir.
In 1994 Itaipu dam has been selected as one of the seven modern Wonders of the World. However some people think that it’s a joke becouse during the construction of the dam beautiful huge waterfalls that should be Wonders was destroyed.
A huge advantage of hydroelectricity is a low price of energy production but building of the dam couses a drastic changes in the ecosystem. Energy production isn’t also completely ecological because reservoirs in tropic regions are the sources of methane emissions.
A co sie stalo z przedimkami (a, an, the), w tym krotkim tekscie brakuje az 14. Prosze ich uzywac.

The Itaipu is a hydroelectric dam located on (brak przedimka) Parana River in South America. It’s 'a' zly przedimek) second largest power plant 'on' (zle slowo, tutaj masz kalke z polskiego) the world. (przedimek) first is the Three Gorges Dam in China. The name „Itaipu” in the language of (przedimek) Guarani Indians means „the sounding stone”. The dam is the result of collaboration between two countries – Brasil and Paraguay and (brak czasownika) zlocated on their border. It was finished 'after 11 years in 1984' (daj to inaczej..najpierw kiedy a pozniej po ilu latach).
Paraguay is (przedimek) much smaller country and uses 'only less' (albo jedno slowo albo drugie, ale nie obydwa) than 7% of energy produced by Itaipu. It’s about 95% of 'Paraguays' (Paraguay's) electric demand. The rest of (przedimek) power generated on (przedimek) Paraguayan part is 'buying' (zle slowo, zly czas..tutaj ...being bought) by Brasil. In all Itaipu provides about 20% of 'Brasil' (pomysl, tutaj Brasil's) demands.
'Interesting is the price for which' (bardzo dziwne zaczecie szdania, napisz to inaczej...The price - dlatego, ze wazne jest 'cena') Paraguay sells electricity to Brasil.
'Unfavorable for Paraguay agreement' (bardzo dziwnie zaczynasz zdania, to znaczy ze uzywasz translator i robisz slowo w slowo z Polskiego, nie rob tak, te zdania wygladaja sztuczne...An agreement) was signed by (przedimek) then-dictator Alfredo Stroessner for 50 years (ale od kiedy - to musisz napisac).
(przedimek) work of this power plant is based on the gravitational force of flowing water. Water is stored in (przedimek) reservoir and when a floodgate opens water flows down in a tunnel powering 'a' (zly przedimek) turbine. The higher the dam the bigger (przedimek) power. The turbine is connected to an electric generator which 'produced' (zly czas, tutaj teraz.) electricity and sends it to the grid. After that water is pumped back to (przedimek) reservoir.
In 1994 Itaipu dam 'has been' (zly czas, wystarczy simple) selected as one of the seven modern Wonders of the World. However (przecinek po 'however') some people think that it’s a joke 'becouse' (prosze napisac to slowo poprawnie!) during the construction of the dam 'beautiful huge' (zla kolej. slow) waterfalls that should be Wonders 'was' (ale to ma sie zgadzac z 'waterfalls' l. mnoga) destroyed.
A huge advantage of hydroelectricity is a low price of energy production (przecinek przed slowem 'but') but building of the dam 'couses' (ortog) a drastic changes in the ecosystem. Energy production 'isn’t also' (zla kolej. slow) completely ecological because reservoirs in (przedimek) tropic regions are the sources of methane emissions.
