Witam,
Proszę o sprawdzenie poprawności użytych czasów..
Many children start going for dental checkups at an early age, but Kelly Smithers was fourteen years old when she WENT for the first time. It WAS not a very experience.
Until then Kelly HAD BEEN lucky. She HAD ALWAYS HAD good teeth and HAD NEVER BEEN suffered from toothache.
But for two or three months Kelly HAD BEEN GETTING pain, on and off, in one of her teeth. So,her mother DECIDED that a trip to the dentist WAS necessary.
It TURNED out to be a terrible experience for Kelly. She HAD twelve fillings in one sitting and was in great pain. Since then, Kelly has suffered from dental phobia and HAS NEVER HAD the courage to go to the dentist’s again.
But then, three months ago, Kelly SIGNED up for a session at Feelgood Dentistry. She HAD STARTED to have tootache again and REALIZED that she NEEDED to do something about it. At Feelgood she HAD regular counselling sessions and WAS given then the chance to talk through her problems thoroughly. ‘It HAS BEEN wonderful so far,’ she says, ‘I HAVE BEGAN to understand what lies behind my phobia and so I should be able to overcome it soon.’

Karen sat at her desk. She couldn’t concentrate on her work because she was thinking about Dave. They HAVE WORKED together for three years and she HAD ALWAYS LIKED him more than any of her other colleagues. They had never had an argument. They used to be able to talk about anything together- work matters or things that were affecting their private lives at the time. But now, everything had changed she felt that Dave was being very strange. DID HE HAVE some terrible secret? She decided to speak to him about it.
Dave WAS HAVING a coffee in the canteen when she found him. She got straight to the point. ‘Dave’ she said, ‘I HAVE KNOWN you for years. We HAVE STARTED working here at the same time and we have always got on well together. But you’ve been behaving very strangely. What’s happened?
Have I done something to upset you?’ Dave said nothing at first. He HAS BEEN SITTING there in silence. The he leaned forward and whispered, ‘No, you HADN’T DONE anything wrong. It’s me. For the past couple of months, I WAS DOING something I shouldn’t. But I can’t tell you about it now.’ And then he got up and left. As he disappeared, Karen WONDERED/ HAD BEEN WONDERING(?) what on earth it could be.
It WAS not a very (tu brakuje slowa) experience.
She HAD ALWAYS HAD good teeth and HAD NEVER 'BEEN' (nie rozumiem po co to slowo tutaj jest) suffered from toothache.
She 'HAD' (wg mnie niepotr) STARTED to have tootache again and REALIZED that she NEEDED to do something about it.

We 'HAVE' (wg mnie niepotr) STARTED working here at the same time and we have always got on well together.
He 'HAS BEEN' (zle - tutaj daj inne slowo) SITTING there in silence.
...then he whispered, ‘No, you 'HADN’T' (zly czas) DONE anything wrong. For the past couple of months, I 'WAS' (zle, daj tutaj 2 inne slowa) DOING something I shouldn’t. As he disappeared, Karen WONDERED what on earth it could be.
Czy mógłby ktoś jeszcze napisać swoje propozycje? Wiem, że w zadanich z poziomu CPE różne osoby mają różne punkty widzenia :)

Czyli..
and had never suffered...
She started....
...started working...
He was sitting (?)..
No, you haven't done anything wrong...
For the past couple of months I have been doing

Czy nie za duzo tych z Past simple?
Moim zdaniem zdanie o 12 plombach powinno mieć "have smth done" konstrukcję;)
A reszta Ok tak jak poprawiłam? a jaki masz argument zwiazany z uzyciem tej konstrukcji jesli mozna wiedziec? ;)
jezeli tam jest podane tylko, zeby uzyc 'have', to nie da sie uzyc konstrukcji have sth done
A reszta ok?
She HAD STARTED to have tootHache again and (HAD) REALIZED …- ok
At Feelgood she HAD regular counselling sessions and WAS given.. – ok, 'have smth done' - nie.
mozna bylo tez dac ‘ IS HAVING regular sessions and IS (BEING) given…
‘I HAVE BEGUN to understand …
mozna tu tez bylo dac ‘I’m beginning to understand…

She couldn’t concentrate on her work because she was thinking about Dave. They HAD BEEN WORKING together for three years ….
He SAT there in silence.

z innymi poprawkami wyzej reszta ok
