Nowadays, an increasing number of people decide to set out on an extremely hard, lonely expedition - to circumnavigate the Earth or reach an inaccessible peak. What are the benefits and drawbacks of this idea?
There are plenty of good reasons for such a step. Firstly, it is a great possibility to experience an incredible adventure. Not only will you find out if you can manage in difficult situations, but also gain some invaluable experiences. Secondly, it is an astonishing chance for those, who want to become word-wide famous travellers. For sure circling the globe alone will be noticed and appreciated by load of people.
Nevertheless, setting out alone on a difficult expedition also have some disadvantages. First of all, you are only on your own. Nobody will help you if some dangerous accident happens. Last but not least, it is a struggle with loneliness. During reaching the peak there is nobody to talk with you or support in tough situations.
All in all, there are both pros and cons of setting out on difficult, lonely expedition. Taking into consideration all the aforementioned arguments I am inclined to agree with the proponents of such an idea more. However, it is a mater of self-discipline, stamina and personal choice.
