In my opinion Cornelis Jacobszoon Drebbel is aN unsung hero. Not many people HAVE heard about him. He was born in 'Alkmaar in 1572' (nie, jak podajemy to najpierw date a pozniej miasto i kraj, tutaj in 1572 in Alkmaar in THE Netherlands) in Netherlands. He attended the (jakie?) Academy in Haarlem. In the beginning of his life he worked as a painter, engraver and cartographer, but 'in' (zle slowo, tutaj FOR) most of his life he worked as a scientist and inventor. In 1620 he worked for the English Royal Navy and he invented 'a' (zly przedimek, tutaj THE) first navigable submarine.
He constructed 'a lot of' (to jest za niskie slowo na tak powazny temat, moze 'numerous') types OF microscopes and telescopes. For example he constructed a microscope which containS (micro - it-3os.l.poj) two convex lenses. We can say that he was also A great chemist. He was involved in the invention of mercury fulminate (Hg(CNO)2) – a 'substances' (tutaj l. poj) which is useD for initiate explosion). He 'synthesis' (daj tutaj czasownik) another 'substances' (l. poj) mercury silver which is also useful for constructING 'a' (niepotr) explosive materials. Also he 'was great pyrotechnics' (tu cos nie tak, he was a 'great pyrotechnician, albo he was great with pyrotechnics - mysl co piszesz).
In addition he discovered a chicken incubator and a mercury thermostat which can keep the same temperature for a long time (it was very useful in (ale jakiej?) industry).
Przedimki (a, an, the) - prosze troche popracowac nad nimi.
