I am writting to you to apologise and explain everything on behalf of the students and my.

On 8th November ten of my friends and I decided to kidnap all the garden gnomes in a town.Then we sent a picture of each gnome and a ransom note to you. We did it because we thought it wolud be funny and we were bored. Now I know that it was not a good idea.

Once again, please accept my apologies for what has happened and any upset caused. I promise that all the garden gnomes are going to be returned.

według mnie nie może być 'what has happened', bo już wcześniej umiejscowiłeś to zdarzenie w przeszłości
możesz napisać the garden gnomes are going to be ..., ale czy to pasuje w takim liście, nie lepiej 'will'?

"My" zawsze musi być z rzeczownikiem. Można uprościć to zdanie.

"On behalf of the students and myself I would like to apologize..."

On 8th November ten of my friends and I decided to kidnap all (the) garden gnomes in 'a' (mówisz o konkretnym mieście) town. Then (przecinek) we sent 'a' (zły przedimek) picture of 'each' (jak było więcej niż 2,3 daj 'every') gnome and 'a' (niepotrz) ransom note to you. We did it because we thought it would be funny TO DO SO 'and' BECAUSE we were bored. Now I know that it was not a good idea.

Once again, please accept my apologies for what 'has happened' (zły czas-mówisz o przeszłości niemającej związku z teraźniejszością) and any upset caused. I promise that all the garden gnomes are going to be returned.

zielonosiwy ma rację, że lepiej użyć 'will' w ostatnim zdaniu.
