1. List nieformalny

Hi Mark,

Thanks a lot for your letter. It’s great to know that you’re enjoying
your stay in the countryside. I’m really sorry for the late answer but
I’ve had a lot on my plate recently.

We moved to the completely different side of Poland six months ago. I’d
been worried I wouldn’t find a new soulmate but I signed up for cooking
classes where are many great people. For instance, I’ve met Suzie who I
usually go shopping with.

My typical day is very similar to one I used to have in the previous town.
I wake up in the morning, go to school and after it I usually suft the net

or watch tv. There isn’t nothing special and I sometimes get bored.
I’ve had no plans for summer yet so I’d love to accept your
invitation.

I’ve got to finish now. I am going shopping with Suzie and I haven’t
been prepared yet. Anyway, I hope we’ll see each other soon.

Bye for now
Aneta

2. List z prośba o informacje

Dir Sir/Madam

I am writing in response to your advertisement, which appeared in ‘New York’ magazine. I am interested in taking part in the Bennington Rock Festival which is going to be hold between Friday 15th and Sunday 17th July. Thus, I would like to get some additional information.
My and my two friends are going to arrive the Heathrow Airport late Friday and our return flight is at 9:15 p.m on Sunday 17th. Could you tell me what time the transport will be organized?
I also have one question about the accommodation. Is there a possibility to have a triple room for us three?
I would like to ask you if there is a Chance to lower the price in spite of the fact that we are going to spend only two days at the festival.
I look forward to your receiving your reply.

Yours faithfully
Aneta Abram

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

‘Catch Me If You Can’ is the best detective comedy I have ever seen. It combines a great sense of humour and stunning roles of Hollywood starts Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hanks. It is directed by Stephen Spielberg. What is more, the whole plot is based on a true story.
The film is set in the sixties. Frank Abegnale, played by Leonadro Di Caprio, decides to run away from home and become a check forger. He changes his names and professions so that police could not find him. He is a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer. The plot is very fascinating. I was absorbed by the whole story and didn’t know who is he going to be next.
Frank is still being followed by detective Hanratty, played by Tom Hank, who eventually manages to catch him and lock him up. Surprisingly, Abegnale is such a good forget that FBI offers him a job as a check fraud specialist.
This is definitely a film I recommend to anyone who can appreciate the talent of actors as I have not seen such an interesting and amusing film for a long time.

DZIĘKI !

Oczywiście tam powinny być akapity i były, ale po wklejeniu tekst się "zbił w kupę" :)

I’m really sorry for the late answer (przecinek przed 'but') but I’ve had a lot on my plate recently.

We moved to 'the' (zly przedimek, tutaj ma byc 'A') completely different side of Poland six months ago. I’d been worried I wouldn’t find a new soulmate 'but' ('but' mi tutaj nie za bardzo pasuje, moze SO) I signed up for cooking classes where THERE are many great people.

My typical day is very similar to (tutaj dalabym przedimek THE) one I used to have in the previous town. I wake up in the morning, go to school and after it I usually 'suft' (blad ortog - slowo jest SURF) the net or watch tv. There 'isn’t nothing' (tutaj masz double negative - nie tedy droga, to co napisalas to ...is not nothing - to nie jest poprawnie. Lepiej ..there is nothing) special TO DO and I sometimes get bored.
I’ve 'had' (lepiej jest uzyc slowo MADE) no plans for (przedimek) summer yet so I’d love to accept your invitation.
I’ve got to finish now. I am going shopping with Suzie and I haven’t 'been' (niepotr) prepared yet.

'Dir' (nie, slowo jest DEAR) Sir/Madam (daj przecinek na koncu)
I am writing in response to your advertisement, which appeared in ‘New York’ magazine ON podaj tutaj date). I am interested in taking part in the Bennington Rock Festival which is going to be 'hold' (xzly czas, tutaj HELD) between Friday 15th and Sunday 17th July (podaj rok). 'Thus' (niepotr slowo i tutaj nie za bardzo pasuje), I would like to get some additional information.
'My and my two friends' (nie, to jest niezgrabne, piszmy 'My two friends and I') are going to arrive 'the' (niepotr) AT Heathrow Airport late ON Friday and our return flight is at 9:15 p.m on Sunday 17th.
Could you tell me what time the transport will be organized? (to zdanie nie przekazuje to, czego chcesz. Tutaj mozna zrozumiec, kiedy oni zorganizuja transport a moga to zrobic 2 dni wczesniej bo np. zamowic taksowke, ale to nie znaczy kiedy ta taksowka przyjedzie po nich - a o to Ci wlasnie chodzi. Mozna to ujac...Could you tell me what time the transport will arrive for us.)
Is there a possibility to have a triple room for 'us three' (to jest troche kolokw - lepiej...for the three od us)?
I would like to ask you if there is a chance to lower the price 'in spite of the fact that' (nie, to jest zle - tutaj co masz na mysli, to 'BECAUSE') we are going to spend only two days at the festival.
Yours faithfully (przecinek)

It combines a great sense of humour and stunning roles of Hollywood 'starts' (nie, tutaj napewno masz na mysli STARS) Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hanks.
The film is set in the 'sixties' (lepiej 1960s). Frank Abegnale, played by Leonadro Di Caprio, decides to run away from home and TO become a check forger. He changes 'his names' (nie, dlatego, ze on ma tylko jedno wlasciwe imie, to tego nie moze zmienic, ale co on zmienia to imiona, tutaj...he changes names) and professions so that (przedimek) police 'could' (ja bym dala CAN) not find him. (tutaj mozna dodac cos, np. ze jeden raz on jest takim, a drugi raz takim). He is a pilot, a doctor and a lawyer.
Surprisingly, Abegnale is such a good 'forget' (nie, tu masz zle slowo, napisalas 'forget-zapomniec, a mialas na mysli FORGER) that (przedimek) FBI offers him a job as a check fraud specialist.
This is definitely a film I WOULD recommend to anyone who can appreciate the talent of actors 'as' (tutaj jest zle slowo, lepiej AND) I have not seen such an interesting and amusing film for a long time.
Bardzo dziękuje ! :))
