premodification with built-in definite article

Proszę o pomoc w:

Cytat: Quirk et al.
When the article is written with a small t, it is not part of the name itself. Hence, any modifier describing the referent follows, rather than precedes, the article:
the breathtaking Himalayas

In The Hague, however, The is part of the name.

Czyli The Hague nie może być premodified:
? _ breathtaking The Hague.

Zatem, chcąc opisać The Hague musiałbym użyć np. relative clause:
... The Hague, which is breathtaking, ...

Dobrze myślę?
Nigdy nie miałem tego problemu, aż labtes zapytał

czytał?
http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/175247/is-it-greetings-from-the-sunny-hague-or-greetings-from-sunny-the-hague

na pierwszej stronie odpowiedzi w guglu "sunny the Hague" oprocz linku do tej dyskusji jest jeden wynik pokazujący użycie tego ciągu wyrazów w zdaniu: 'a very sunny the Hague' - sam bym powiedział właśnie tak, ale nie jestem native'em.

za to the sunny Hague daje raczej tylko jedno zdanie
no i jeszcze daje to: http://www.multitran.ru/c/m10.exe?a=4&MessNum=336126&l1=1&l2=2

'a sunny Hague' daje tylko link do tej pierwszej dyskusji
z tego co czytałem to te "the" jest tłumaczeniem niderlandzkiego "den" i jest integralne z nazwą, więc trzeba kombinować. The Hague-a beautiful city...
Ufff, zawsze przed zadaniem tutaj pytania zastanawiam się czy przypadkiem nie jest głupie :) Zwykle kasuję :)

@mg
Szukałeś w Google wpisująć różne przymiotniki aż trafiłeś na 'sunny The Hague'?

A tak poza tym, to 'the' w The Hague powinno być pisane wielką literą, zgadza się? :)

masz tu kawałek artykułu dla CNN Your World " Sudan Investigation; Ba'ath Party Congress; Rumsfeld on North Korea" i przenalizuj: Well, one of the things that amazed me the last time I was there, which was a few months ago now, five or six months ago, was the extent to which in the middle of the desert, the Sahara Desert, you're kind of -- you know, there's no water, no electricity, no nothing. And you run into groups of refugees, and you say, you know, " What do you most want? " And they say, " The Hague. " And you say, " Well, the Hague? " And these people, they didn't know the Hague was in the Netherlands. They didn't know where it was, but what it represented to them was accountability, which is something that they are very familiar with in their tradition and their culture.
chyba w starannym dzienikarstwie zawsze bedzie z duzej
@labtes

Dziękuję Wam.
