Nietypowe użycie "shall"

Temat przeniesiony do archwium.
Jak uzasadnić użycie "shall" w zdaniu:
The prize is to be given to whoever shall have done the best?
Ja powiedziałbym 'whoever does the best'. :(
Wygląda na dawne użycie. Z 'does' brzmi lepiej.

to jest po prostu future perfect, tylko z 'shall' zamiast 'will'
możliwy kontekst do tego zdania:

The prize is to be given to whoever shall have eaten the largest number of hot-dogs by the time the contest is over.
tak jest
have done = podkreslenie, że nagroda zostanie wreczona, gdy juz bedzie wiadomo, kto byl najlepszy
no i przestarzale czy formalne uzycie shall
Moja wątpliwość dotyczyła części zdania z whoever - bo na przyklad w takim zdaniu: This money will be given to whoever wins the game. W tym zdaniu 'whoever will win the game' jest niepoprawne - powinien być użyty present tense a nie future tense. Więc dlaczego w zdaniu z wątku jest shall have done a nie has done?
To wszystko zalezy kiedy to bylo pisane. Sa ludzie, ktorzy maja zdolnosci uzywac...will be given to whomsoever shall win the price...i sa inni ktorzy ida na latwizne. Tyle.
