UNTIL + Present Simple / Present Perfect

Jaka jest różnica w użyciu Present Simple i Present Perfect po Until?
Np. w takim zdaniu:
1) They will not go to the party until they receive the invitation.
2) They will not go to the party until they have received the invitation.

Znalazłam różne opinie. Niektórzy mówią, że nie ma różnicy, a niektórzy twierdzą, że Present Perfect podkreśla, że akcja już jest complited (jeśli dobrze zrozumiałam).
