Male uwagi:
1. Nigdy nie ryzykuje, jeżeli mogę tego uniknąć.
I never TAKE A risk, if I can avoid it.
2. Po drugiej stronie rzeki, naprzeciw Toma, mieszka Joe.
On the other side of the river, opposite Tom LIVES (nie 'leaves') Joe
- ale lepiej 'Joe lives opposite Tom, on the other side of the river'.
I never risk /take a risk - if it's in general then take a risk if it's not then I never risk is also correct.
I know (lives) I was bollocked by MG already - just misspelled.

I used riverside cuz I thought it might have been there ( not only on the other side of the river but pricesely on the riverbanks:D

If she meant po drugiej stronie - daleko za rzeka then as terri wrote
but if she meant po drugiej stronie rzeki - tuz nad rzeka then my version is correct also.
