Problem z 'should' PILNE

Hej w ksiazce Vince'a przy zastosowaniach should'a jest jedne przyklad ktorego nie moge zrozumiec, mianowicie -
'It's strange that you should be staying in the same hotel' mozecie mi wytlumaczyc o co chodzi w tym zdaniu?

tutaj should ma za zadanie podkreslic zdziwienie i nieoczekiwany zbieg okolicznosci (wrecz niedowierzanie). Nie nalezy tego tlumaczyc jako "powinieneś".
Najlepiej w ogole tego na polski nie tłumaczyć

czyli po prostu? to dziwne ze cos tam cos tam ?

tak, po prostu wzmocnienie "zdziwienia"

istnieje cos takiego jak

[SHOULD in noun clauses after subject +to be + adjective]

a)Uzywa sie go po przymiotnikach, które wyrazają np. przyjemnośc (pleasure),
zaskoczenie (surprise), shock (szok), dezaprobate (disapproval) , odraze (disgust)..etc.

np. It's strange/odd that you should mention his name. (mamy przymiotnik który wyraza nam tu srprise)

lub inne. I'm horrified that he should have told anyone. (tutaj mamy shock)

b)Uzywa sie go po przymiotnikach takich jak np. important, essential, imperative, vital, inevitable.

c)Uzywa sie go w tzw that-clauses, gdzie dochodzi do tego jeszcze sprawa (subjunctive) - jednak chodzi tu bardziej

np. It's essential that you should be there to meet him.
to samo zdanie mozna napisac It's essential that you be there to meet him.

w jakim sensie niedoedukowany?

w żadnymm mg- tam jest usmieszek wiec...

niemniej, osobie pytającej nalezy sie szersze wyjasnienie..

This means "It's strange that you happen to be staying in the same hotel."
In other words, if you are staying in the same hotel, it is or will be by chance.

The same meaning is conveyed by the real (and somewhat archaic) subjunctive instead of the should+verb construct:
"It's strange that you be staying in the same hotel."
