Nowadays many people aim to achieve a richness. Money is important thing in our life but being rich is not as easy as it could look like. A great fortune is also a great slavery.
First of all big wealth focuses attention of thieves and burglars. Rich persons and their families are exposed to danger. They have to employ bodyguards, install some cameras and burglar alarm in house. They are observed all the time so they have no privacy. A wealth is also a responsibility. If they don’t care about safety their life will be threatened.
Another disadvantage of having a fortune is loneliness. It’s hard to have a real friends when you are rich. You can’t rely on the others because there are many fake friends around you. If you lose all money you will understand it’s only a play-acting.
On the other hand rich people’s life is more interesting and enjoyable. They can travel to the furthest countries in the world, eat sundry meals in the most expensive restaurants and do everything what they want.
Furthermore their dreams come true, there is no barrier for them. As people say: “Money doesn’t give happiness – only a shopping”. The rich can enter to the shop and buy whatever they want, no matter it is a new car or big house with swimming pool. They don’t have to be afraid of paying bills or going to work.
To sum up, rich people’s life is not only pleasant but complicated as well. I agree that great fortune is also a great slavery. Money shouldn’t be the most important part of our life. People should appreciate both worth of money and values like family, health or love. Otherwise people will be slaves of theirs own greed.
