jak przetlumaczyc: mam w domu stale lacze/ lacze sie przez modem?

Mam stałe łącze - możesz powiedzieć \'I have a broadband connection/ I have a cable connection\'
Właściwie to w tych zwrotach chodzi chyba o szybkość, no ale w sumie to mniej więcej na to samo wychodzi.
Ale może inni się wypowiedzą - ci, którzy wiedzą coś więcej o komputerach.

What you are referring to is either a cable or DSL connection. In both cases you are connected to the internet with a modem. In fact you still need a modem even with a dial up connection but dial up is considered to be the slowest.
DSL and cable are very close in speed but DSL connection is superior to cable in the sense that you don\'t share your broadband with other users. This way internet traffic won\'t affect your speed one way or another. Pricewise DSL is more money but not available in all the States yet.

modemik to dial up connection, raczej nie mowi sie dial up internet connection - z zalozenia wiadomo o czym mowa i dial up to dial up.... To tak jak po polsku powiedziec modem internetowy....troche sztucznie... LAe zastrzgam: ja podaje jak to w NZ sie mowi...
