What do you think about English language

What do you think about English language? Where can i find sth about that. Could you provide me with a link or sth to some kind of discussion on some boards on that ? I'd like to know their and your opinion as you're the people who can make comparisions because English is your(their) secound language. I'd rather direct that question to people who know and use their language actively(speak with it at least once a week) than passivly. I know that there may not be many like that of your willing to share here with us, that is why i would like you to provide me with a link to that kind of discussion or share here your own opinion of course if you wish. I'd be very grateful.

Could you define what aspect you are particularly interested in?

I'm interested in every aspect of their and your feeling about English language. I just can't make that judgment as of yet because, in fact, I have never had a chance to speak in that language, only reading and reading :(. I can't afford a native speaker or anything like that. So my knowledge of English is almost entirly based on my passive knowledge of that language. So I can't feel the pleasure of using it as of yet. That's why I need your opinions about that language. Is it really that great? Or maybe it is not that great language as it is being written about it(him??)? Just need your opinion, feelings about the English language(as being your L2) compared to your native language(L1). Share your views, please.

I have'got yet another question to you. Were you able to feel the pleasure from learning English langauge only after attending the native speaking meetings(or anything else where you were able to speka to someone in english and develop that ability) ? Was it like that that before you had a chance to develop your speaking abilities you were standing at one point in your knowledge of Engish and you couldn't make any further progress?thx.

You must try speaking with someone who is from an English speaking country... I really enjoy even listenig to the native speaker! I started learning English when I was 7 and went to a British school so it's hard to answer your question... rnBut for me (apart from reading) talking is the best aspect of this lovely language ;)

Maybe someone is going to finally answer to some of my questions :). Just share what you wish about English language. Do you thing it is better than Polish language? That language is beign spoken all over the world so, in your opinion, is it really deservs that praise as it is being given? Or maybe is it like that you are forced to learn that language but it seems like you are starting realizing that you can't express yourself in that language like you would do in your mother language?
