Do you like computer games, and why are they so popular? On the one hand, they can be fun and imaginative but on the other hand, they can be addictive, violent and antisocial. Say about advantages and disadvantages of computer games.

Nowadays the number of computer players is getting higher. There are many reasons why this situation happens. First of all, playing computer games is one of the ways of spending leisure time. Secondly, games like these provide players with entertainment and allow them to create their own world. Furthermore, the price of computer games is becoming lower and almost anyone can afford on it. Playing computer games has as many positive as negative aspects. To start with advantages, such games are created to develop player’s imagination. Another positive fact is that some games do not have a version in a particular language and a player has a great opportunity to get know new language. Moreover, playing computer games is said to be a great fun not only for young but also for adults.
On the other hand, playing computer games has also some drawbacks. Firstly, according to doctors long hours spent in front of computer has a harmful effect on people’s sight and the brain. It is also important to take into consideration the fact that these games may be addictive especially among youngsters. Last but not least, the violence, aggression and the bloodshed are inherent element of most of the computer games.
It is hard to decide whether playing games is good or not. Although, all players have to realize that there always two sides of medal. Personally I am not keen on computer games and I have to claim that I even dislike them.
