Chciałabym się dowiedzieć jaki mniej więcej reprezentuję poziom językowy (A1-C2) oraz czy byłby wystarczający żeby pojechać na wymianę za rok albo dwa (mogę się jeszcze w tym czasie poduczyć). Jestem w ósmej klasie. Wydaje mi się, że to może to być B1+/słabe B2, ale niespecjalnie mam porównanie. Wiem, że nie da się do końca ocenić po tym jednym wypracowaniu, jednak chyba można oszacować. Nie proszę o sprawdzenie, ale przyjmę każdą uwagę. Wypracowanie oczywiście z dodatkowego kursu (chodzę od dwóch lat, w szkole mam angielski od pierwszej klasy), bo w szkole poziom jest raczej mierny. Jeśli chodzi o mówienie, to nie mam raczej bariery językowej, nie jest idealnie, ale dogadać się potrafię.

These days, as the Internet is becoming more and more accessible, its popularity as a medium to gain knowledge has also significantly increased. Many young people decide to learn a foreign language using apps and websites as an alternative to language courses and school classes. Therefore, there has been a heated debate whether this method is actually the most beneficial for learners.
First of all, using the internet in order to learn a new concept enables the student to access numerous sources to access information in a variety of forms such as videos, graphs or even games. Secondly, there’s a considerable difference in price, so even those who can’t afford expensive stationery courses usually have the opportunity to use the internet. In addition, what must be highlighted is the fact that the education of the less gifted is often not good enough due to lack of time in class – the internet is always there to help them, no matter how long it would take.
Nevertheless, learning through the internet has some disadvantages about which one may not forget. Without proper help from a teacher, occurrence of mistakes in one’s communication is inevitable – they are likely to develop wrong habits, that may later be hard to overcome. Moreover, the fact that internet courses are not compulsory makes them easier to be forgotten about and, consequently, not used regularly enough. Last but not least, the internet is said to be full of fake information that may be misleading, especially for beginners.
Having analyzed the pros and cons of this phenomenon, I am of the opinion that learning through the internet can be very useful if done properly. I do believe it’s essential to use websites that are surely accurate, otherwise it may cause harm to the learner.
