Taj Mahal
1. It is India’s mausoleum. It is located in Agra.
2. It is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. It is called the temple of love. This Palace was built for 22 years. This wonder of architecture was created by Shahdżahan in memory of his prematurely deceased wife Mumtaz Mahal.
3. History of this place:
In 1631 years when Mumtaz Mahal –India emperor’s wife died during the birth of their 14th child, she’s husband promised her that he will built magnificent palace in her honor.
That is the reason why it is called “Temple of Love”.
Lotus Temple in New Delhi
1. It is the biggest temple Bahá'í in India. This Temple is located in the southern part of Delhi.
2. Popularly known as the Lotus Temple due to its flower shape.
3. History of this place:
The Bahá'í House of Worship was built in 1980 years according to the Fariborz Sahba’s project.
4. Inside building there is any religious symbols. Everyone irrespective of religion can pray there.
Coliseum
1. This is a large amphitheater in the center of the city Roma, Italia. It was started in 70 AD by Vespasian and was completed in 80 AD under Titus.
2. It is very big elliptical structure and is 189 meters long and 156 meters wide.
3. There was held fights of gladiators, hunting of wild animals as well as a variety of other events. The Coliseum was used to killing Christians too.
4. Today the Coliseum is a major tourist attraction in Rome.
