Cracow the second largest city in Poland is situated by River Vistula. It was also second Poland’s capital. Its rich history and culture should be known to all Poles. In 2006 it was one of five most popular cities of Europe. It means, that also foreigners appreciate the beauty of Cracow.
Cracow is home to many historical buildings and monuments such as The Wawel Royal Castle, Wawel Cathedral, the Old Town, Main Market Square and Sukiennice Cloth Hall. There are 11 big and several small, often situated in cosy cellars, theatres in Cracow. You can do many other things in this historical city, for example visit the Manggha Museum of Japanese’s Art and Culture or the Czartoryski Museum with paintings of Leonardo da Vinci. When you are tired of sightseeing you can go to the Cellar under the Rams (Piwnica pod Baranami). Place which has affected on evolution of Cracow’s culture for years for sure allow you to feel Cracow’s atmosphere. I really recommend this city, because there are a lot of things, that we can do, visit or see. If we organize our trip to Cracow well, it will be a very memorable experience.
:)
