The Western European Union
The theme of my presentation is the Western European Union. The presentation consists of two parts.
The first part that describes the history of the Western European Union and the second part which presents the main objective of the creation of the Western European Union and its organs.
The Western European Union, WEU, called Western European Union, WEU, Western Union initially, an organization founded on the basis of the modified systems of Paris in 1954, the Treaty of Brussels of 17 March 1948 on cooperation economic, social, cultural and common self-defense. Its main objectives are: economic cooperation, political, cultural, and collective security. WEU rise was due to a failure of creating a European Defence Community. For the first members: Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom joined in 1955, Germany and Italy, in 1990 - Spain and Portugal, 1991 - Greece. Observers - Austria, Denmark, Finland, Ireland and Sweden. Associate members (called Associate Members) of the organization are: Czech Republic, Poland, Iceland, Norway, Turkey and Hungary. The Western European Union was dissolved March 31, 2010 due to the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty. Activities of the completely was announced June 30, 2011

The main task is to ensure the safety of WEU Member States - in practice, it carries out NATO and the WEU had no military capabilities. It was not until the 80s and 90 Twentieth century resulted in an attempt to strengthen the role of the organization through its inclusion in the system of the common foreign and security policy of the European Union. It was decided, among others by increasing the WEU's operational capabilities so that it can function using the armed forces outside the Member States, such as the provision of humanitarian aid and to maintain or restore peace. In this regard, it is often said about the creation of the so-called. European defense identity (called European Defense Identity - EDI), which may take place within NATO rather than outside the organization. Countries were initiating a new direction postulate France and Germany set up a European body subject to the WEU, but also the potential for use by NATO.

WEU bodies are: the Western European Union Council, made up of the Council of Ministers - collecting in Brussels twice a year (the ministers of foreign affairs and defense policy of the Member States, the Presidency changes every six months) and the Permanent Council - still works, the General Secretariat, based in Brussels (support the activities of the WEU, reporting) and the Parliamentary Assembly, established in Paris (delegations of national parliaments).

The Treaty of Maastricht joined the WEU into the system of the Common Foreign and Security Policy with the task of achieving the objectives of the EU for defense. The EU Council in consultation with the institutions of the WEU may decide to common shares. However, the final shape of the Treaty of Amsterdam showed that EU members have different visions of the role of the WEU and its future.
Czy ktoś mi to poprawi bo ja byki robie niesamowite :P

The theme of my presentation is the Western (nie jestem pewna, ale nie wiem, o czyms takim jak Eastern EU - po co wkladac 'Western') European Union.
The first part 'that' (niepotr) describes the history of the Western European Union and the second part 'which' (niepotr) presents the main objective of the creation of the Western European Union and its organs.
The Western European Union, WEU, 'called Western European Union, WEU, Western Union' (po co to? nie widze powodu by to wpisywac) initially, an organization founded on the basis of the modified systems of Paris in 1954, the Treaty of Brussels of 17 March 1948 'on' (to jest kalka, ale tutaj nie rozumiem o co chodzi) cooperation economic, social, cultural and common self-defense.
WEU rise was due to a failure 'of' (zle slowo) creating a European Defence Community.
'For' (nie rozumiem po co to slowo tutaj dales) the first members: Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom joined in 1955, 'Germany and Italy, in 1990' (tutaj nie jest zrozumiale kiedy) - Spain and Portugal, 1991 - Greece.
The Western European Union was dissolved (cos brak) March 31, 2010 due to the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty. Activities 'of the completely' (tego nie rozumiem) 'was' (dlaczego l. poj jak masz 'activities') announced June 30, 2011

The main task is to ensure the safety of WEU Member States - in practice, it 'carries out' (zle, ale nie wiem o co chodzi) NATO and the WEU had no military capabilities. It was not until the 1980s and 1990 'Twentieth century' (niepotr, daty piszemy 1980s, 1990s) resulted in an attempt to strengthen the role of the organization through its inclusion in the system of 'the' (niepotr) common foreign and security policy of the European Union. It was decided, among others (brak slowa) by increasing the WEU's operational capabilities so that it can function using the armed forces outside the Member States, such as the provision of humanitarian aid and to maintain or restore peace. In this regard, it is often said 'about' (zle slowo ale i tak niepotr) THAT the creation of the so-called 'European defense identity (called European Defense Identity - EDI)' (tego nie rozumiem, dlaczego powtarzasz to samo?), which may take place within NATO rather than outside the organization. Countries were initiating a new direction (tu cos brtak) postulate France and Germany set up a European body subject to the WEU, but also the potential for use by NATO.

WEU bodies are: the Western European Union Council, made up of the Council of Ministers - 'collecting' (zle slowo) in Brussels twice a year (the ministers of foreign affairs and defense policy of the Member States, the Presidency changes every six months) and the Permanent Council - 'still works' (nie rozumiem), the General Secretariat, based in Brussels (support the activities of the WEU, reporting ale CO?) and the Parliamentary Assembly, established in Paris (delegations of national parliaments).

The EU Council in consultation with the institutions of the WEU may decide to 'common shares' (nie rozumiem co to ma byc).
