Last month in my town there was a marathon. I decided to sign up for the list of participants and encougared my friend. The run was planneg by Sunday, 5th May. It was fortuitous that the weather was sunny and watm. The day was perfect for such a event.
I was pleasantly surprised that everything start at ten o'clock sharp as it was on the schedule. At first there was a warm-up leading by a profossional coach. Then the marathon began. As we were running I saw the police who protected us form the traffic. On the way there was many points with water or medical facility for that one's who all of a sudden felt ill.
Behind the barriers were standing people who supported the runners and did not let them give in. When I had finished the run I noticed that there were plenty od my friends all around. Almost a half of town society came to take part in the event. Not only my friends congratulated me on ending the run, but also the welcoming strangers were doing it. I could feel the atmosphere of warmth and joy.
That day stucked in my mind as a time fulfilted with positive energy. Everything was propoer done and the participants ware extremely eympathetic. I will willingly partake in following editions.
