Witam,
bardzo proszę o sprawdzenie mojego streszczenia i z góry dziękuje za pomoc :)

The article describes Birds of Paradise, whom feathers are incredibly black. This bird coming from Papua New Guinea is enquired into knowing the mechanism these feathers traits employ to, is test subject Teresa Feo, Todd A. Harvey, Rick Prum and Dakota Mccoy.
At the beginning, is information about birds appearance. Males are brilliantly colored, with ornaments, whereas females are drab and brown.
In the next part the author compares bird to cave, black hole, solar panels, the lining of space telescopes, Vantablack and indicates that feather patches absorb up to 99.95% of directly incydent light.
Next we find out that Bird of Paradise feathers differ in structure from normal, cause they are tiny and they have jagged, complex surface, which looks like light traps. When light rays strike these surface microstructures contained therein repeatedly scatter around the shapes and are absorbed uptil it is almost completely absorbed. What is more Dakota Mccoy emphasizes her validity by saying that this feathers are super-black even if they’re coated in gold, a shiny metal, what is induced by physical surface structure.
In the article the reader is told about some advantages of super-black feathers. First, black feathers make way for camouflage. Second, predators keep away thanks to them. Then it gives male birds increased chance to sexual selection, because it spices them up to a female during the mating dance. There is explanation that males have to show his best side what means straight ahead, because these feathers are highly directional and super-black patches always sit around or next to brilliant color patches. It creates the optical illusion based on ambient light.
The final part the scientist adds that plumage has a decisive influence on sexual selection, because females choose only males and as a consequence, to the pass feather genes on to future generations.
