W ostatni weekend odbyło się przyjęcie z okazji osiemdziesiątych urodzin babci twoich angielskich przyjaciół, na które byłeś zaproszony, ale nie pojechałeś, chociaż dobrze znasz i bardzo lubisz starszą panią. Napisz list z przeprosinami.

- przeproś i wyjaśnij, dlaczego nie mogłeś być na urodzinach.
- wyraź nadzieję, że przyjęcie się udało - i zapytaj o przebieg.
- opisz krótko przyjęcie z okazji osiemdziesiątych urodzin swojej babci.
- opisz swoje plany na najbliższy czas i zapytaj, kiedy możesz odwiedzić jubilatkę.

I'm so sorry that I couldn't be for Madam's birthday. Unfortunately, I had very important exam on my studies. How passed this party ? I hope, that was very successful. When my grandmother had eightieth birthday, all my familly arrive on celebration. We had familly reunion. First, my grandmother make a official speech, then we sang "happy birthday" and next was magnificent feast. Everybody were delighted. Now, I work to weeks and then I have leisure. Then I will visit Madams.

'I'm so sorry' (mozna tez - please accept my apologies) that I couldn't be THERE (albo lepiej attend) 'Madam's' (nie, nie, - grandmother's) birthday. Unfortunately, I had A very important exam. How DID THE PARTY pass? I hope,
that IT was very successful. When my grandmother had HER 80th birthday,
all my familly 'arrive' (czas przeszly to arrived) AT THE celebration. We had A family reunion. First, my grandmother maDE aN official speech, then we sang "Happy Bbirthday" and THEN WE HAD A magnificent feast. Everybody WAS delighted. Now, I HAVE TO work FOR tWO weeks and then I WILL have SOME leisure TIME. Then I 'will' (mozna tez promise to) visit 'Madams' Your grandmother).
