many people think of Poland and immadiately think of pope John Poul II. He was a greta Polishman, who wrote many books about God and human, he visiteg many countries and met many people who were very often representants of different religious and moral principles. Many people connect Poland with representatives of literature, art and music. Polish literature is so varied that it is no possible to describe it in a few sentences. Probably the most famous name is Sienkiewicz who wrote for example "Qou Vadis", he got Nobel Prize for it novel. First period of musical greatnest is Chopin. He cerated many marvellous music compositions for piano. Nowadays around the world are competitions where young people play his music.
The most famous city in Poland is a royal city Cracow. Many of Cracow's monuments are on an UNICEF list. Everybody hear about Wawel which was a resident of Polish kings.
Other important images are food and drinks. Schabowy(Pork crop) is a traditional Polish image. The old historic drink is drinking honey(miód pitny) which is connecting of alcohol and bees' honey.
There are many Polish sportsmen who are famous around the world. The one of theme is Adam Malysz, ski jumper. He is a winner of world cup. Another famous sporter is Otyli Jędrzejczak polish swimmer. She has got many gold medals.
Tatras mountain and Baltyk sea are also image associated with Poland. In our country foreigners can found many beautiful landscapes like in arcadia.
To sum up Poland is a very interesting and beautiful country. A perso who has never been in Poland should immadiately visited our mother country.
