1. last year, tom and fiona decided to buy a house. they have been saving up for ages, and by the end of may they put by enough for deposit on a house. they have lived in a tiny flat at the time and fiona was insisted that she want a house with a big garden. they have been searching for only a few days when they found exactly what they were looking for - a two-bedroomed house in nearly an acre of garden. unfortunately the owner asked much more than they were willing to pay, and when they were looking more closely at the interior, they sow that whoever had lived there before, made an absolute mess of the walls and floors. still, fiona liked the garden and the location so much that she managed to convice tom that, despite the price, it was the perfect house for them.

2. last summer some friends and i arranged to go camping. we were looking forward to going for weeks when finally the date of departure arrived. we loaded the car with our luggage and set off early in the morning. the weather was perfect, the sun was shining brightly and the wind was blowing gently. there wasn't a cloud in the sky! shortly afterwards, while we were traveling along the motorway, we noticed that the car is making a strange noise. pete, who was driving very fast, suddenly stopped the car. everyone got out and went roung to the back of a car. to our surprise the boot was wide open - whoever had loaded the luggage, had not closeed it properly, and everything fell out!

and when they 'were looking' LOOKED more closely at the interior, they 'sow' (blad ortog) that whoever had lived there before, made an absolute mess of the
walls and floors. still, Fiona liked the garden..

2. last summer some friends and 'i' I arranged to go camping.
..we noticed that the car 'is' WAS making a strange noise. Pete, who was driving very fast, suddenly stopped the car. everyone got out and went 'roung' (ortog) to the back of 'a' THE car. to our surprise the boot was wide open - whoever had loaded the luggage, had not 'closeed' (ortog) it properly, and everything fell out.
