1. last year, Tom and Fiona decided to buy a house. they have been
saving up for ages, and by the end of May they put by enough for
'A' deposit on a house. they 'have' (niepotr) lived in a tiny flat at the time and Fiona 'was' (niepotr) insisted that she wantED a house with a big garden. Unfortunately the owner asked much more than they were willing to pay,
and when they 'were looking' LOOKED more closely at the interior, they 'sow' (blad ortog) that whoever had lived there before, made an absolute mess of the
walls and floors. still, Fiona liked the garden..
2. last summer some friends and 'i' I arranged to go camping.
..we noticed that the car 'is' WAS making a strange noise. Pete, who was driving very fast, suddenly stopped the car. everyone got out and went 'roung' (ortog) to the back of 'a' THE car. to our surprise the boot was wide open - whoever had loaded the luggage, had not 'closeed' (ortog) it properly, and everything fell out.
