Transparency International group`s annual league table show that Britain is in 14th position if we take into consideration corruption. On the top position are: Denmark, Finland and Sweden. the reason why Britain occuped so low position is series of sleaze. Gearmany is on 13th position, even though that country still tolerante bribes to foreign contractors. US exert pressure on Germany to quit with that kind of bribes. However, US is behind Germans, because of the nature of this survey. The most corrupt countries are Nigeria, Bolivia, Columbia and Russia. The chairman of Transparency International notice against coruption in poor countries. He put some blame on rich countries which offer bribes to the Third World. He also think that we have to fight with corruption because it may have bad effect on poverty, education and healthcare. What`s more, if we look at foregin investments, corruption had comparable effect on it as raising the marginal tax rate by more then 20 percent. So, we have to realize how dangerous the corruption is.
