Proszę o przeczytanie, poprawienie lub dodanie czegoś... w mojej pracy na temat, który akurat znajduje odzwierciedlenie w czasie:)

HOW DO YOU SPEND CHRISTMAS?

Święta Bożego Narodzenia są dla mnie najważniejszym okresem podczas całego roku. Jest to jedyny czas, kiedy moja rodzina jest w komplecie. Ludzie
są wtedy dla siebie mili i uprzejmi.
Przygotowania do świąt w mojej rodzinie zaczynają się już na początku adwentu, kiedy to z całą rodziną chodzimy do kościoła na roraty. Pierwszym znakiem nadchodzących Świąt Bożego Narodzenia w moim domu jest zapach świeżo pieczonych pierników, które muszą być stosunkowo wcześnie przygotowane aby odmiękły na oczekiwany czas. A także wielkie sprzątanie, którego ja nie lubię.
Dzień Wigilii Bożego Narodzenia w moim domu zaczyna się wcześnie rano, ponieważ według staropolskiej tradycji jak się w ten dzień długo śpi, to się prześpi cały rok. Nie jemy tego dnia śniadania, ponieważ post obowiązuje
aż do wieczerzy. W tym dniu kobiety w moim domu cały czas spędzają
w kuchni przygotowując dwanaście potraw. A mężczyźni idą do lasu po choinkę i ubierają ją w bombki, łańcuchy oraz świąteczne lampki. Dekorują także świątecznie cały dom.
Gdy na niebie pojawi się pierwsza gwiazdka, cała rodzina zasiada
do świątecznego stołu. Pod obrusem znajduję się siano oraz jedno nakrycie pozostaje wolne dla niezapowiedzianego gościa. Na stole znajduje się dwanaście potraw tj.: barszcz czerwony, zupa grzybowa, pierogi, śledzie. Głównym daniem jest karp. Jednak moim przysmakiem są pierniki.
Przed jedzeniem odmawiamy wspólnie modlitwę, dzielimy się opłatkiem
i składamy sobie najszczersze życzenia. Opłatek dajemy także zwierzętom
aby mogły przemówić ludzkim głosem. Po posiłku odpakowujemy prezenty spod choinki i śpiewamy razem kolędy. A następnie udajemy się do kościoła
na uroczystą pasterkę. Pierwszy i drugi dzień świąt spędzamy w gronie rodzinnym.
Święta Bożego Narodzenia są czasem kiedy ludzie są dla siebie mili, uprzejmi i wyrozumiali. Tylko szkoda, że ten czas nie może trwać cały rok.

Święta Bożego Narodzenia są czasem kiedy ludzie są dla siebie mili, uprzejmi i wyrozumiali. Tylko szkoda, że ten czas nie może trwać cały rok.

For me, Christmas is the most important time in the whole years.
It is the only time when my whole family is together. People are nice and kind.
In my home, preparation for Christmas begin with the start of the Advent when my family and I go to the Church. The first sign of the coming Christmas in my home is the freshly baked smell of the gingerbread, which prepared earlier so what it is soft when needed. Christmas also means great cleaning which
I do not like.
Christmas Eve, is a day which begins early morning in my home, because according to an old Polish tradition anybody were sleep long that oversleep
the whole years. We do not eat breakfast this day because strict fast binds
us until supper. This day women in my home spend in the kitchen all the time preparing twelve dishes. The men go to the forest for the Christmas tree
and they dress it with glass balls, paper chains and festive lamps. They decorate the whole house as well.
When the first start appears in the sky, the whole of my family sit
at the festive table. Under the tablecloth hay is inserted and one place remains for an unexpected visitor. On the table are twelve dishes i.e.: beetroot, mushroom soup, ravioli, herring. There is also the main dish – carp.
However, my own delicacies are gingerbread.
Before eating we common prayer, we divide the wafer and we to express one’s most sincere wishes. We give the wafer to animals that they can speak
in a Human voice. We unpack a present under Christmas tree and we sing together a Christmas carol after meal. Next we go to the church for a solemn Midnight Mass. The first and second day holy we spend in a family setting.
Christmas is a time when people are mild, kind and good towards each other. The only drawback in that this time cannot last the whole year.

When the first 'start' (tutaj STAR-gwiazda, nie start) appears in the sky, the whole of my family sit at the festive table. Under the tablecloth hay is 'inserted' (znalazlam lepsze slowo - laid) 'and' BUT one place remains for an unexpected visitor.
Before eating we SAY THE common prayer, we divide the wafer and we 'to' (niepotr) express 'one's' OUR most sincere wishes. We give the wafer to animals SO that they can speak in a human voice. We unpack 'a' THE presentS FROM under THE Christmas tree and we sing together 'a' (niepotr) Christmas carolS (bo wiecej jak jedna) after THE meal.
