The review
A book entitled The Black Dahlia written by James Ellroy is the novel
based on 'really'? (nie - ON A REAL murder commitTED in 1947 in THE USA. The author tells a story OF two policeman who 'try' TRIED to solve THE 'mysterious' MYSTERY OF THE 'murdered' MURDER (dlaczego nie rozpoznajesz czesci zdania po ang?) beautiful, young woman 'calls' CALLED Betty or Black Dahlia because of her black 'cloths' (nie, cloths - to szmaty do wycierania czegos, tutaj CLOTHES). One of THE police officers 'names' NAMED Bucky Bleichert becomeS (he-becomeS) obsessed with learning all THE details of Elizabeth Short's life. He and his partner collect everything, 'what' (o tym tez juz pisalam, 'what' nie jest zawsze odpowiednikiem pol. 'co'- tutaj THAT belonged to Dahlia and check out every person 'who's' WHO she HAD noteD down in her notebook. The novelist also showS THE reader some stories of Bleichrt's boxing career, 'he's' (NIE, he's - znaczy 'he is', tutaj chodzi o jego- HIS) problems with HIS father, THE woman 'who' HE loves and finally 'in' HIS work. He damages THE relationship with HIS lover and she 'left' LEAVES. THE young policeman doesn't deal with 'case Betty' (NIE - tutaj chodszi o BETTY'S CASE). She completely turns 'upside down his life' (zla kol slow - his life...).
Action keepS THE reader in suspense 'since' FROM THE first page to the last one. THE text and 'composite' (nie rozumiem tego slowa tutaj- aha COMPOSITION) are clear 'this' WHICH makes IT easier FOR reading the book. THERE ARE lots of plot twists and turns in The Black Dahlia. The 'misery' (nie tutaj MISTERY) surrounding THE murder makeS aN amazing novel.
In the novel THERE are some very brutal and sexual moments, THE reader in
'lecture' (tego nie rozumiem) sees 'really post World War II American reality' (nie, nie tak...sees the reality of post WWII Amnerical society) full of
violence and dishonestY.
Although in THE text THERE are hard words and unpleasant view OF THE massacred body , it's A good thriller for all who like 'this' tHESE (bo books to l. mn) kindS of books where THE main plot concernS A crime. The Black Dahlia isn't light reading but it's good reading. It gets a lot of 'entertain and enter' (cos tu nie tak) to 'specific Ellroy's' (zla kol slow) word.
Myślę, że już trochę lepiej z the/a/an u mnie w porównaniu z innymi pracami. Prawda jest taka, że nie zawsze wiem czy powinnam rodzajnik przedimka.
Popracuje jeszcze nad tym, a za uwagi bardzo dziękuję:)
