“Across the universe" is a romantic music drama. It’s american producion directed by Julie Taymor. It’s beautiful history about love, friendship and prostest against at antiwar. Sountrack, it’s nothing less than all known band The Beatles songs. History happens in those 60-years. History begins when the main character Jude’a, which plays Jim Sturgess, going to America in search his father. He meets Max, who becomes his best friend, and his sister Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), in which they love
in which he love. Still the war with the force of teenagers turns into chaos., Lucy joins the group of pacifist, When Max is drafted to fight in the Vietnam War. But Jude will want to live in peace with the loved, away from difficult reality. Do they opposed fate or survive (czy przetrwają przeciwności losu) ? In the film there are also such stars as Bono, Salma Hayek and Joe Cocker.
Great game players, music, theme and design create a great atmosphere (Wspaniała gra aktorów, muzyka, tematyka i scenografia tworzą wspaniały klimat). Every place, every person is a reference to the work of B. a lot of nice surprises for fans of music. I recommend this film not only to fans of The Beatles, but to everyone who is able to turn off the cynicism and move into the world of young rebels and war.
