Alcohol-Related Car Accident in Camden Causes Dead of Two Young People
Two London residents are dead and one is seriously injured after being involved in a single car accident in Camden. John White aged 22 and Bob Brown, aged 24, were passengers in a car driven by Andrew Grey.
On Friday, August 16, around 03.00 a.m., three men were coming back from the local pub, when the car they were travelling in crashed into a roadside tree.
London’s Police Patrol officials said that the car was traveling at a high rate of speed. The impact of the crash ripped the car in two pieces.
Bob Brown, the passenger in the front, was ejected out the windshield. He was pronounced dead on the scene. According to police, he was not wearing a seatbelt.
John White, sitting in the back, was also pronounced dead on the scene. He died because of head injury.
Andrew Grey, the driver, was transported to a local hospital for injuries, which were not serious.
Andrew was found by police to be under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with killing two people, as well as driving under the influence and driving with too much speed.
This is the second accident to have happened this month because of alcohol and speed. The Police patrols should patrol the streets more often and they should be way bigger consequences for driving too fast or under influence.
