która jest najbardziej poprawanedo tego zdania:

I've been dancing ballroom/tango/social 3 - 5 times a week in different venues for the past 4 years. Never heard it called a parquet.

It looks like there are at least two Canadas we're dealing with here. Go figure :)
On the other hand, just think of how many intersting things other than dance steps you can do on a parquet floor, and not necessarily with some foam rubber mattress laid down there.:)

nigdy nie słyszaem o życiowym parkiecie a jednak mamy tutaj:)
Z tym ze parkiet do tanca w polskim do jest dance floor w angielskim, a u askera to jest metafora.
Jest chyba nawet taka piosenka 'Life is a dance floor' a nie life is parquet albo a parquet floor

Moi drodzy dziekuje za tak duza aktywność, ale nadal jestem w kropce i nie jestem pewna jakie jest poprawne tłumaczenie powyższego zdania:/
na pewno nie uzywaj parquet, bo to jest nieodpowiednie odzwierciedlenie tego, co masz zamiar przekazac - to jest po prostu rodzaj podlogi, a nie pojecie miejsca, jakim jest dance floor

zgadza sie.. owa sentencje chciałam zamiescic na tatuazu jednak powstrzymam sie, skoro trudno jest je doslownie przetłumaczyc:/ probowalam juz wielu kombinacji myslałam,ze komus sie to uda przetłumaczyc:)
