CZY KTOS MÓGŁBY MI WYTŁUMACZYC RÓZNICĘ POMIĘDZY GLANCE,GAZE ,PEEP,PEER,STARE.na tych przykładach bo nie umiem rozw tego zad
1.He.....intently at the piece of paper in front of him,wringing his hands in despair.
2He stretched to his full height and....over the wall to see what lady smith's daughter was doing
3We....through the fog,blinking,trying to catch a glimpse of a moving light
4He stopped fidgeting and fiddling with her dress.She just sat,absolutely still.and...out of the window,miles away,just ocassionaly pursing her lips,then biting them hard
5Referee....at his watch again,made a sign to the linesman,then blew his final whistle.

Gaze - spoglądać - She gazed at her reflection in the mirror.
Peep - podglądać – He peeped though the hole in the fence but didn’t see anything interesting.
Peer - wpatrywać się - The shortsighted man peered at the book through his spectacles.

Nie są to dokładne odpowiedniki, ale powinny ci ułatwić Zrozumienie różnicy między czasownikami. Teraz uzupełnij zdania, a potem się zobaczy czy masz gdzieś błąd. Możesz też, jeżeli czujesz się na siłach, skorzystać z pomocy słownika jednojęzycznego. Np. http://dictionary.reference.com/

nie wiem czy to dobrze?

Nieźle jak na kogoś, kto nie miał pojęcia jak to zrobić. :)
2 i 5 z pewnością dobrze.
Peer dałabym w zdaniu 3. ze względu na mgłę
O 4. można się spierać, zależnie od tego, czy dziewczyna ma się przez okno gapić, czy spoglądać. Ale moim zdaniem w obu kombinacjach miałoby to sens.
