GUIDANCE: HOW TO GIVE EFFECTIVE TALKS

1. Before you start to prepare your speech, you should recognize ever conditions. I suggest investigating when and where will be the talk. Try to find out how large is the boardroom and if there are any facilities (microphone, projector etc.).

2. The second important thing is to recognize your audience, especially what type of people are they: young or old, educated or no and other features of this group. Consider what have your listeners known yet and what will they expect and choose appropriate material. The more information you have, the better you can prepare.

3. Then you have to poses necessary material and select them. Talk only about important issue. If you have not enough information, consider where and how you can get it.

4. Plan your speech. Good start and finish is the most important. You should adjust your ton of voice and length of speech to the audience. Do not talk to long, the listeners may be bored.

5. Try to interested people in your topic. You can use gentle joke, anecdotes or your own remarks. Put easy questions to make discuss. You can use some audio – visual aids if it is possible.

6. During talk you can use some notes to remember what you want to say, but you can not read it. At the end of speech leave some time for questions.

If you get hot applause after your presentation, you are succeed.
Przejrzałam ten tekścik i zauwarzyłam, że zostawiasz inwersje w zdaniach twierdzących.(często spotykany błąd). Oto poprawione przeze mnie fragmenty twojej pracy:
-...when and where will the talk BE(choć lepiej byłoby z take place).
-...how large the boardroom IS...
-...what type of people they ARE...
- Consider what your listeners have ALREADY known and what they will expect...
To by było na tyle. Pozdrawiam!
