Would you be so kind and explain the following American expressions into RP English ?

1) I had a blow-out.
2)Open the drapes.
3)It's in the trunk.
4)one way or round trip?
5)He left the faucet on.

I tried to translate the remaining expressions, so just have a look and correct me if I am wrong, please.

6.Pass me the cookies = pass me the bisquits (?)
7.It's in the closet = It's in a wardrobe
8. We've run uot of gas = we've run out of petrol
9.we're leaving in the fall = we're leaving in the autumn
10 i hate waiting in the line = I hate waiting in the queue.

Thanks in advance.

>3)It's in the trunk.=it's in the boot

Blow-out w American English to po prostu "guma" w samochodzie ;] , więc:

I had a blow-out = I had a puncture
Now I know, but thanks anyway!
