I am aware of the fact that these results are not as good as you will expect but I really hope that this slight diffrence( I think) will not take me a chance to become a student of ....University. I am sure that I will not disapponit you and I will do my best to be a good representant of your school. I would like to add that the Matura Exam 2005 and its results left a lot of young people`s doubts and letdown(albo disappointment-tylko wczesniej juz pisalam, wiec nie chce powtarzac). For the first time this system of estimation( proportional system), in my country, has come into existance and this is why it is not the pink of perfection and adeguate to my knowledge(;) ). (to na usprawiedliwienie ze z bioli nie mam 4-tak jak sobie tego zyczyli , poza tym wsio warunki spelnilam..... To ostatnie zdanie chyba jest w ogole bezsensu gramatycznie, ale nie wiem jak mam to ulozyc po polsku........

Myślę, że wpiewrszym zdaniu lepiej użyć modala "may", a więc: as good as you might have expected...dlaej will not take away a chance...jako że to chyba jest phrasal, choć mogę się mylić...dalej jest błąd w spellingu: disappoint, nie disapponit..no i rzeczownik od to represent to representative...dalej możesz wtrącić let them down...jako że phrasal to let down jest przechodni (transitive) i można po nim użyć dopełnienia bliższego..dlaej jest błąd w spellingu: adequate nie :adeguate...Poza tym powinno być dobrze... :)
Ale mogę się mylić.

Hmmm..a może teraz ktoś poprawi mój "spelling" w języku polskim...;)
Przepraszam za błędy...możesz uznać, że jestem niekompetentna, aby udzielać ci wskazówek przez moją pisownię w języku polskim, mam jednak nadzieję, że pomogłam ci choć trochę...

Jak to ma byc list do Uni to lwpiej formalnie, bez colloq.

Moze tak: I am conscious of the fact ... not as good as you expected... (spelling-difference) will not take away my chance /or prohibit me from becoming a student...I am sure/lepiej/ I am confident that I would not disappoint you as I would try my best to be a good student. (representant - do you mean - representative?- to nie potrzebne).

I would like to add that 2005 was the first time that the Polish Matura Exam was based on an estimation system/albo a proportional form and resulted in a number of bitterly disappointed students.
I hope that you will look favourably at my other results and that the biology mark will not prevent me from becoming your student.

Moze ktos inny cos jeszcze doda do tego.

A z tym "may" w zdaniu pierwszym, to możesz użyć obu form, to jest obojętne, czy wpiszesz "may" czy "might"...Pozdrawiam :)

Nawet bardzo bez sensu. Napisz to po polsku. A tak przy okazji to juz jestes ktoras z kolei osoba, ktora obwinia system oceniania.

czy tak moze wygladac ten list?

O.K. teraz mi sie znowu nie podoba, ze kazde zdanie zaczyna sie od 'I' -ale jak zaczniemy zmieniac, to nigdy tego nie skonczymy. Przy okazji, jak masz czas, to czytaj 'academic language' - znajdziesz wypracowania na www - temat nie tyle wazny, co przyzwyczajenie do jezyka 'academickiego'.
