Some Doubts

Cześć! Czy ktoś może mi pomóc?

1) Jak lepiej powiedzieć: "My parents are together since 1970" czy może "My parents have been together since 1970"?

Gdzie tu są błędy?

- Could i borrow your dictionary? - Yes, you might

- Her parents gave a party when they heard she had successfully taken all her exams.

- My family lived here since 1963.

- You lie the table while I finish cooking the dinner ( tu chyba powinno być "lay" ale w jakim czasie? moze być z will?)

- He gained a really big prize in the National Lottery.

3) She had some nasty br.....on her face after accident. I moja wątpliwość: bruise czy bruises?

I suppose there's an error. Can we use "will" after while?

for instance - "I will visit you while I am in London"

It seems to me "will" is correct if you are using "while" to contrast two things (meaning "natomiast"). But, to tell you the truth, I’m not sure.

Ty nakrywasz, ja koncze gotowac - you lay, I finish... (jako plan, present simple dwa razy, blad jest w uzyiu slowka "lie")

I robie to podczas gdy Ty robisz tamto - I do this while you do that

Dla mnie brzmi to bez sensu - "Ty nakryjesz stół, ja skończę gotować.."

Jeśli już to powinno to brzmieć "Ty nakryjesz stół, ja ugotuję obiad"

Słowo "while" znaczy "podczas gdy"

Z tego możemy tak to przetłumaczyć "Nakryjesz do stołu podczas gdy będę kończyła gotować obiad"
czyli " You will lay the table while I finish cooking the dinner"

p.s przed posilkami nie wstawiamy "the" :):):)

ale jakbys planowal przyjecie to mowisz: ty nakrywasz, ja gotuje, potem przychodza gosci, serwujemy to i to itd. i uzywasz simple present

PASSED albo SUCCESSFULLY TAKEN. Dla mnie SUCCESSFULLY PASSED to maslo maslane (Can you pass an exam unsuccessfully??)

zgadzam się z tobą ludek że wtedy jest present simple ale nie o to chodziło w tamtym zdaniu
