Bardzo proszę o wyjaśnienie różnicy pomiędzy

begin doing

begin to do

begin by doing

begin doing = begin to do

hmn... She began teaching in a women's college = she began to teach in a women's college

begin by doing = it's like to start with; to start by doing sth = rozpocząć od czegoś

hmn... może...

She began by thanking us all for coming, and next... = rozpoczęła dziękując nam za przybycie

= she started by thanking us all for coming. = to samo znaczenie.

Zawsze zastanów się jakby to miałoby zostać użyte w zdaniu. Za same wyrażenia na moim wydziale można dostać po głowie ;)

Got to say I'd much the same sort of thing during my studies ( I studied physics and being given a young tutor of" introduction to integration theory" which was expecting and always got up on the wrong side of bed and thereby she truly made me a strong dislike and had it up to anything connected with this subject at all, despite in itself was going to be rather interesting one, brrrrrr ) .

bardzo proszę o wyjaśnienie tej różnicy pomiędzy begin doing i begin to do

wg tego co znalazlem w Necie, nie bedzie roznicy.

Tak, w wiekszosci przypadkow moze nie byc zauwazalnej roznicy w znaczeniu z takimi czasownikami (start, begin, continue) ale w niektorych przykładach jedna forma może być bardziej porzadana od drugiej:

She started to speak but stopped because he cut her off.
She started speaking, and kept on for more than ten minutes.

She began opening all the doors. – tutaj np ‘opening’ jest lepsze od ‘to open’ moim zdaniem

She began opening all the doors.....też mi sie wydaje ze bardziej naturalnie brzmi, ..chociażby ze wzg, na to że otwieranie tych drzwi trwa z reguły jakis tam czas , wiec naturalniej jest z końcowką ( ..-ing ).

or in other words -ing form is more appropriate ( sometimes) for multiple activities
by default (in a nutshell):
infinitive - potentiality
-ing form - performance
