Dlaczego going to/will, krótkie opowiadanie o przyszłości

Cześć, zamieszczam tekst w którym to samo opowiadanie jest przedstawione w różnych czasach. Nie mogę "załapać" dlaczego jest używane na przemian will i going to. Wiem teoretycznie jak używać obu form do wyrażania przyszłości, ale w takim opowiadaniu się gubię i nie widzę tych reguł.

Tekst w czasie teraźniejszym:

Freddie the fork and Sara the spoon live together in New York. Freddie and Sara are getting married.
Pretty much all of Sara’s friends come to the wedding. But her Aunt Patti doesn’t make it.
Two days before the wedding, Sara’s mother and father fly to New York from London. Their flight
makes it in on time.
Sara’s father is old-fashioned. He doesn’t want Sara to live with Freddie before they get married.
Freddie and Sara do not have a lot of money so they have a do-it-yourself wedding. Freddie and Sara
cook all of the food and Sara’s mother makes the wedding dress. It is a lot of work but it is worth it.
Freddie and Sara get married at the beach. They are worried it is going to rain but the weather
cooperates.
After they get married, Sara’s father is happy because Freddie has made an honest woman of her.



I w przyszłym:

a co to za slowo 'gonna'? prosze pisac poprawnie. To, ze inni wymawiaja jak chca(kolokw) nie znaczy, ze TY wlasnie masz tak sie uczyc.

Czesto obie formy mogą być stosowane wymiennie. Czasami going to wyraża plan/zamiar. Znajdziesz coś o tym w necie.

Tekst pochodzi z podcastu, w którym jest używany naturalny angielski, stąd wyrażenia potoczne. Osobiście nie uważam tego za wadę, a wręcz przeciwnie.
Czy ktoś jest w stanie wytłumaczyć słuszność zastosowanych form? Przykłady z neta dotyczą pojedynczych zdań, nie znalazłem przykładu z opowiadaniem.

Niestety nie. Tego typu przykłady rozumiem i w podobnych zdaniach wiem którą formę zastosować. Nie rozumiem jednak jakie formy stosować w przypadku opowiadania. Zastanawiam się czy ma to w ogóle wtedy znaczenie.
Jakby ktoś do wybranych zdań z tego tekstu napisał dlaczego została użyta odpowiednia forma to by mi znacznie pomogło.

...Sara’s father is going to be happy... Tu nie prztełumaczysz zamierza
