Spotykasz się z użyciem typu:
My friend/resumé/cover letter itp. got me an interview....

bo na necie było coś w stylu: I send out lots of resumes but don't get any interviews, stąd moje pytanie

a może lepsze będzie: to finally get a call for an interview?
chcę żeby to brzmiało dobrze i naturalnie, i żeby rodzajniki były tam gdzie trzeba lub nie trzeba

ale after plenty/tons of resumes sent out - poprawne w końcu jest czy nie? bo znajomy z Hiszpanii, który studiował anglistykę mówi, że dobre jest, więc ja już sam nie wiem...

No it's not. A bit of formal gobbledegook here. Boy, do I love it!:)

Tell the conquistador:) that if you would like "to achieve a stylistically well-balanced sentence in accordance with the norms of English structure", you may want to avoid ed-participles being dangled this way with 'after', especially when you have a fronted adverbial non-finite clause already with an overt subject (resumes) which is supposed to be indentified with the subject of the main clause 'I'.

In clauses postmodified by ed-participles, these participles are ususally
firmly linked with the passive voice

After lots of resumes sent out = After lots of resumes that were/have been sent out, ..

po prostu chciałem napisać 'po tylu wysłanych CV', tak jakoś mi się napisało z tym sent out na końcu, dopiero jak przeczytałem znów stwierdziłem, że coś nie bardzo chyba pasuje, ewentualnie sent-out resumes, ale w takim razie co, najlepiej będzie after sending out, tak?
