Milano

Milan is probably the most admirable italian city. I have visited it twice and I’m still looking back. The city is located in the plains of Lombardy, the most populated and developed region in Italy, and has about 1,3 million ihabitants. It was founded 2600 years ago by the Celts, and its name comes from a celtic word meaning “in the middle”.
Nowadays, the place is famous for fashion firms and shops (via Montenapoleone), financial and business centres, football teams (AC Milan, Inter Mediolan), silk production and Alfa Romeo motorcars.
While staying there, you must see spires of the cathedral Duomo di Milano and Michelangelo’s sculptures in Sforza Castle. Inquisitive tourist should also visit the world's oldest shopping mall - Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the church Santa Maria delle Grazie with Leonardo's far-famed painting "Last Supper” and the well-known opera house – La Scala. Don’t forget to taste Panettone – the traditional sweet cake!
Of course, like every other metropolis, Milan has some disadvantages. Horrible temperature, annoying traffic and awful can disgust anything. But unforgettable atmosphere and pleasant Milanese make it a brilliant place to come.

Could someone sprawdzić czy all gra?
Horrible temperature, annoying traffic and awful can disgust anything.
