HELP!!!

Hi there!!! I have a little problem with rewriting two sentences. This will probably be dead easy for you, but in fact I don\'t have any idea how to do it:
1. People have suggested that you could be on the committee.
Your name..................for the committee /put/
2. Two of the men walking home accepted our offer of a lift.
Our offer of a lift...............two of the men walking home. /up/
And that\'s it. I\'d be really grateful for any help and I hope I won\'t be laughed at! Anyway, thanks a lot!!!

1. Your name has been PUT IN for the committee.
2. Our offer of a lift was TAKEN UP by two of the men walking home.

And as to your informal question - no, I can\'t see any mistakes in your post so there is no reason to apologize. :-)
