terri I respect you and what you know about the English ,at all but you should be more confident in what you're writing.

I mean - sb needs a help and the specialist help not a word 'moze lepiej tak...'

I really do know you are good at what you usually write but it's not fully-fledged in terms of certainty when you write 'such things'.

What if you direct sb wrong and he/she may be in trouble because you say that is better but wasn't?

I suggest to leave it for sb who can say it's perfectly translated, indeed.
merix:d
I always write ...'moze lepiej tak', because as you may or may not know, there are always many other alternative ways ofexpressing something - my suggestion is only one of them, (albeit 'good', but only one) other people may think of something else.
Thank you for your kind compliments...'I really do know you are good'..I, as a woman, am simply too modest to say that - but I know that it takes an intelligent man to pay me this compliment.
I would never direct anyone to say or write 'something wrong', well not in English anyway (trust me on this).
Last word, nobody can ever say that something is perfectly translated - there are always alternatives and someone else would do it in another style, using more extensive vocabulary etc. As you know - in life - nothing and nobody is 'perfect'.
Dzięki terri

Wiedziałam, że moje tłumaczenie jest barbarzyńskie, ale to dlatego, że jestem samoukiem.Co prawda mam za sobą też roczny kurs w szkole językowej, ale chyba nie dał mi on zbyt wiele, chociaż się uczyłam. Coż - brak jednak w nim było przydatnych w życiu zwrotów.
Jeszcze raz dziękuję.

W różnych ogłoszeniach pojawia się często zwrot "operation of office equipment". office equipment to wszystko: PCs, faxes, photocopiers, itd.

Children and adolescents camp instructor / counsellor training course
INteligent man - don't flatter me:DDDDD

Anyway, I'll bear it in mind. I've written sth in 'English ONly' section - referring to My Topic - Family - do you remember?

Cast an eye over it and add sth controversial to get this thread go on:D

Cheers!!
bollox - intelligent:D
merix:d
Why don't you take a compliment (that you must be intelligent) in the way that it's meant. I've had a look at the topic - Family - as yet I've nothing to add. I'm never controversial - just can't think where you've got that from???
Anyway, I had an ice cold beer waiting for me in Krakow - and 'talked' with some real men (not those unewoluwowanych men) - life just doesn't get better than this.
OK. I take a compliment if you insist on:D

>just can't think where you've got this from

Don't bother thinking where I've got this from. I simply can tell you - from my intelligent mind if I may say so:d

Seriously I've been reading loads of books connected with familiy-like topic concernig teenagers and their correlations and relationships with parents, how they feel being at the edge of falling apart (binge-drinking, bonkling, addiction - you name it) and I arrived to a few conclusions I presented in that 'Family topic'. To be honest I've got a lot to write about this particular and inrtiguing subject on.

I gotta go to work - claening offices during the night

SEE YA
merix:d - I mean - sb needs a help and the specialist help not a word 'moze lepiej tak...'

sb needs A help, THE specialist help...that's not grammatically correct
specialist help - it's correct
sb needs a help - it's correct
1. "help" is uncountable.

2. "może lepiej tak" functions as a mitigator in terri's sentence.
actually merix:d, the sentence - you need a help - is not correct, you could say
you need help
you need a hand
you need a helping hand

Sb is a help to sb, but that was not what you meant in that sentence
and yes, specialist help is ok, but not in that sentence - you need THE specialist help - it would just be - you need specialist help
I know 'help' is uncountable but I've heard an expression 'needs a help' - it means that sb/someone needs some sort of help.

I nedd a help - potrzebuje pomocy (ale nie wiemy jakiej...)
I need help (potrzebuje pomocy (wiemy jakiej...np przytrzymania czegos)
merix:d - when in doubt, use Google as a word/phrase corpus
write in "I need a help with", write in "I need help with", the numbers speak for themselves
although I think might have heard "I need a help with this" before, I would say it's still very uumm, very, very colloquial, used in a very limited context and outside of it sounds pretty bad
Może słyszałeś "I need a hand" lub "I need....uh....help".
"I need a help" jest źle. Jak nie wiesz jakiej pomocy potrzebujesz, to mówisz "I need help", a jak wiesz jakiej to "I need help with" (I need help with science; I need help with fractions; I need help with algebra word problems; I need help with my dog.)
bollox - it was 'I need a help with', indeed

I sometime write sth what Ive heard, that's why mistakes can appear.

thnx guys for remiding
without 'a' -obviously

hard to switch (over) from an incorrect version to correct one:d
