witam,

co może wystepowac po had better
had better + bare infinitive

You'd better do your homework.

a co jeszcze moze wystepowac po had better ?

z gory dzieki
pozdro :D
>a co jeszcze moze wystepowac po had better ?

HAD BETTER + HAVE + Past Participle

Doctor: 'I'm afraid I was only able to come up with that solution'.
Patient: 'Oh, Doctor! You'd better have come up with something better than that'.
to samo jest z WOULD RATHER ?

WOULD RATHER + BARE INFINITIVE ( I'd rather die )

WOULD RATHER SB DID STH ( FUTURE )(I'd rather you didn't smoke in my car)

WOULD RATHER SB HAD DONE STH (I'd rather Tom hadn't drunk so much yesterday )

coś jeszcze po tym ( tak jak z had better czyli would rather + HAVE + P.P. )

dzieki z gory

pozdro :P
A jak jest przeczenie to:
You had better NOT go there.
You'd better NOT have told her the truth.

ale to tylko teoria :p
z HAD BETTER to rozumiem że had better + have + p.p.,( lepiej by było gdybyś coś zrobił ) ale nie wiem po co by tworzyć czas przeszły z WOULD RATHER.( would rather + have + p.p. ) Nie potrafię znalesc zadnego przykladu ...
no a jak sie mowi:
I'd rather you hadn't made such a stupid mistake.
to sprowadzajac do jednej osoby to:
I'd rather not have made such a stupid mistake.

:)
przyklad sie zawsze znajdzie, jezeli jest to poprawne, a jest nim np:
'd rather + HAVE + Past Participle
I went to school on the morning of my birthday; I'd rather have stayed at home and waited for my brother to come with a present for me...
She went to school on the morning of her birthday; she'd rather have stayed at home and waited for her brother to come with a present for her... and so on...

pozostale przyklady, jakie zapodales sa rowniez alright!
Faktycznie. Mój mózg w niedzielę nie wpada zazwyczaj na takie rzeczy :P

pozdro :D
o.O dzieki za te przykłady ! Now everything's clear for me :D
