Temat przeniesiony do archwium.
Mógłby ktoś psrawdzić, czy moje odniesienie się do tych przysłów jest prawidłowe, czy powinienem cos dodać, a może zmienić, jeżeli masz jakies pomysły będe bardzo wdzięczny za każdą pomoc z góry dziex!!

It is best to be on the safe side.
- I think if some man is careful. And he think twice always before do something, he can be sure his future. I think any bad event shouldn’t happened to him. He always know what bad can meet him.

Better safe than sorry.
- We should be safe in our life. Than we don’t hurt people who are very important for us. And when you and me are safe, we haven’t to sorry them for something.

Once bitten, twice shy.
- I think you remember one story of your life when you hurt yourself. After this accident you always be carefully because you don’t want to this incident happened next time.
It is best to be on the safe side.
- I think if someone is careful (nie rozumiem tego). And he always thinks twice before does something, he can be sure about (?) his future. I think no bad event will happen to him. He always knows which bad things can happen to him. (dziwnie to brzmi, no ale...)

If one /a person/ thinks ahead and, as you wrote, is careful they (he or she) will not come to any harm. - albo jakos tak. popraw: \"I think if a person is careful and he or she thinks twice before doing anything...\". reszta troche \"nie tego\"...

once bitten, twice shy - If you get hurt by somebody you will be extra careful next time (anyone approaches you). I think it is referring more to relationships than physical harm.

Zebys od razu wczul sie w znaczenia pomysl o polskich odpowiednikach:
1 Once bitten twice shy - jak sie raz sparzysz to potem dmuchasz na zimne.
2 Better safe than sorry - lepiej nosic jak sie prosic (zabezpiecz sie!)
3 To be on the safe side - to nie jest przyslowie tylko tylko takie powiedzonko idiotycz..idiomatyczne. Znaczy doslownie to co znaczy: lepiej byc po bezpiecznej stronie czyli : byc ostroznym, zabezpieczyc sie, dmuchac na zimne.
