Jak jest różnica między tymi słowami?

To zależy w jakim kontekście chcesz ich użyć, safety odnosi sie do bezpieczeństwa związanego np z rzeczami materialnymi np safety belts - pasy bezpieczeństwa, safety catch - bezpiecznik. Możemy powiedzieć As I don\'t like safety, I don\'t use safety belts. Możemy powiedzieć , że coś jest bezpieczne - It\'s safe etc. Security z kolei odnosi sie do bezpieczeństwa ale sprawowanego przez np agencję ochroniarską, system alarmowy etc. Możemy również powiedzieć social security - ubespieczenia społeczne, nie powiemy social safety w tym kontekście.

a jak np. mezczyzna daje kobiecie bezpieczenstwo, to to jest safety czy security?

czyli uogolniajac: security dotyczy bardziej fizycznego bezpieczenstwa, a safety takiego.. mentalnego? aczkowliek te pasy troche burza moja teorie.. wiec mozna tak uogolnic?

Widze , że pojawia sie problem z tzw \"kalką językową\". Nie zawsze dane słowo pasuje do jakiegoś kontekstu. Native speaker nie zastanawia sie nad strukturą bądź doborem danego słówka, osoby uczące sie mają natomiast ten problem, że w ich języku ojczystym jest troche inaczej. Jeżeli nie ma pewności to lepiej czegoś uniknąć, a jak jest możliwość to sprawdzić w słowniku.

You asked if a man gives a woman safety or security. Good question....it can be both.
If he gives her safety that means she feels safe around him (a feeling that she is not in any danger).
However, if a man gives a woman a sense of security, most likely he has some $ to make her feel that way. It won\'t have anything to do with setting up alarm systems in your car or in the house. We are talking financial security... for that matter it can also relate to a job security ( employment income means a lot of security for most of us).
